The Vertical Measures examines the forest through repetition, distance, and seasonal change.
Through the vertical rhythm of trunks, individual trees become structure — marking space, depth, and time.
The density of summer foliage gives way to the exposed geometry of winter, while water, light, and undergrowth continually alter the space between them.
Each image considers the forest not as a landscape to be viewed from afar, but as a physical system of bodies — standing, repeating, and changing in relation to one another.
