Maja Sofie Kristiansen is a multidisciplinary artist whose work emerges from studies of nature and perception. Moving across photography, painting, text, and installation, she builds an elemental visual language shaped by fog, shadow, water, and the skeletal geometry of trees. Her practice is rooted in direct observation.

She reduces the world to its essentials: the way light cuts through branches, the way the ocean dissolves a horizon.
