Danish Forest

Bark Skin moves through the forest at close range, tracing the meeting of bark, moss, lichen, and the forest floor.

As the camera moves between surface and scale, the tree shifts from landscape to material body — its bark becoming skin, marked by growth, weather, damage, and time.

Close studies of texture alternate with views along the length of the trunk, examining the boundary between surface and structure, and the living systems that gather upon both.
